astroanimationstudio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Expanse Tracker Android application accesses, processes, and stores information when you use the app.

Expanse Tracker helps users manage personal expenses and track credit and debit transactions from SMS messages. App transaction data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a backend server to collect or store your personal or financial records.

2. Information We Access

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Expanse Tracker may access or process:

• SMS messages: Relevant transaction messages from banks or other supported services.
• Transaction details: Amounts, credit or debit status, dates, descriptions, and other details available in supported messages.
• Expense records: Expenses, income entries, categories, and information you enter or generate in the app.
• App settings: Preferences and other local data needed for app functionality.

We process information only as needed to provide the app’s features.

3. SMS Permissions and Use

Expanse Tracker may request SMS permissions to support automatic transaction tracking. Where the relevant permission is granted and Android allows access, the app may:

• Read supported transaction SMS messages.
• Identify potential credit and debit transactions.
• Extract relevant transaction details.
• Help create or update expense and income records.

SMS access is used to provide transaction-tracking functionality. We do not use SMS information for advertising, marketing, or selling personal information.

You can deny or revoke SMS permissions in Android settings. Automatic SMS-based tracking may not work without the required permissions.

4. Local Data Storage

• We do not maintain a cloud database of your expense records.
• We do not receive copies of your SMS messages through our own servers.
• Your information stays on your device unless you choose to export, share, or otherwise transfer it using a feature on your device.

Android backup, device migration, or other operating-system features may handle app data according to your device settings. Uninstalling the app may remove local data, subject to Android and backup behavior.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Expanse Tracker does not send SMS contents or transaction details to a developer-operated backend or server.

If you choose to use an Android sharing, export, or backup feature, information may be transferred to the destination you select or handled by the relevant operating-system or service provider.

6. Data Security

Because app records are stored locally, their security depends partly on your device and its settings. We recommend using a screen lock, keeping Android updated, and protecting access to your device. No electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your records remain on your device until you delete them within the app or remove them through applicable device-management actions.

• Delete individual records or clear records using options available in the app.
• Use Android settings to clear the app’s data.
• Uninstalling the app may delete locally stored app data, subject to operating-system and backup behavior.

We do not retain copies of your local transaction records on our servers because we do not operate a backend for storing them.

8. Children’s Privacy

Expanse Tracker is intended for personal expense management and is not specifically designed for children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated server.

9. Third-Party Services

The app is designed to store transaction and expense data locally. This policy does not imply that any particular third-party service is used.

If future versions introduce advertising SDKs, analytics, crash reporting, cloud synchronization, or other third-party integrations, this policy will be updated to describe relevant data processing.

10. Your Privacy Choices

• Grant or revoke SMS permissions in Android settings.
• Review and delete transaction records within the app.
• Clear Expanse Tracker’s app data through Android settings.
• Choose whether to use available export or sharing features.

Revoking SMS permission may stop automatic transaction detection but does not necessarily delete records already saved in the app.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app’s features, permissions, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published at the privacy-policy URL associated with the app.
