Privacy Policy

Welcome to ODU – Task Manager ("ODU", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our mobile application available on the Google Play Store.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

ODU – Task Manager is an offline-first productivity application that allows users to:

• Create, edit, and manage tasks with priority levels
• Set date and time-based alarms and reminders
• Schedule SMS messages to be sent automatically
• Link tasks, alarms, and SMS messages together

3.1 Information You Provide

All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device only. This includes:

• Task names, descriptions, priorities, and due dates
• Alarm and reminder date/time settings
• SMS message content and recipient phone numbers you input
• Contact information you choose from your device contacts

3.2 Device Permissions We Access

To provide core features, the App requests the following Android permissions:

We do not use any of these permissions for advertising, tracking, or data collection purposes.

3.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

ODU does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or account credentials
• Location data or GPS information
• Device identifiers (IMEI, Advertising ID, etc.)
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any data to external servers or cloud services

All data you create within ODU is used solely for the purpose of delivering the App's features to you on your own device:

• Task data is used to display and manage your task list
• Alarm data is used to trigger notifications at your scheduled times
• SMS content and recipient numbers are used only to send the messages you explicitly schedule
• Contact data is accessed only when you actively choose to pick a contact for SMS scheduling

We do not perform any analytics, profiling, or automated decision-making using your data.

The App uses the SEND_SMS permission to automatically send SMS messages at user-defined times. Please be aware of the following:

• SMS messages are sent using your device's mobile carrier network
• Standard SMS charges from your carrier may apply for each message sent
• The App does not route SMS messages through any server or third-party service
• Only messages you explicitly create and schedule within the App are sent
• No SMS content is read, stored remotely, or shared with us or any third party

All data created within ODU – Task Manager is stored locally on your Android device using the device's internal storage. We implement the following practices:

• No data is uploaded to cloud storage or remote servers
• Data is stored within the App's private storage sandbox on your device
• Data is not accessible to other applications on your device
• If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data within the App, the security of your device itself (screen lock, encryption) is your responsibility.

ODU – Task Manager does not integrate with, use, or share data with any third-party services, SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

The App does not use:

• Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics
• Facebook SDK or Meta services
• Crashlytics or similar crash-reporting tools
• Any advertising frameworks

ODU – Task Manager is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App operates entirely offline and stores no data on external servers, there is no risk of children's data being transmitted or stored by us. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that concerns you, please contact us.

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it at all times:

• Access: You can view all your data within the App at any time
• Deletion: You can delete individual tasks, alarms, or SMS schedules within the App
• Full Erasure: Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all associated data from your device
• No Account Required: ODU requires no account, login, or registration — there is no remote data profile to request or erase

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features or applicable laws. Any updates will be posted within the App and on the Google Play Store listing. The updated policy will include a new effective date at the top.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
